Final Fantasy 15 Release: 5 Things You Need to Know is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.
The Final Fantasy 15 release date is still unknown but that hasn’t stopped new details from emerging in the years since its original announcement. With E3 2015 coming up next month and details starting to settle in, we take a look at everything you need to know about the Final Fantasy 15 release right now.
Final Fantasy XV has been in development for a number of years now but we’re finally starting to see Square Enix take some huge steps towards a release. While the Final Fantasy 15 (also known as Final Fantasy XV) is still unknown, we want to take a look at some of these new details ahead of June and the start of the world’s biggest video game show, E3.
In the years since the first Final Fantasy XV announcement, Square Enix has released a number of Final Fantasy games including Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, a gorgeous remake of the original games. These games are exclusive to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
Despite these releases, interest in the company’s next big installment hasn’t died down and Square Enix has thrown fuel on the fire in recent months with teasers and demos. An official Final Fantasy 15 release date may not be around the corner but things are certainly starting to heat up as we push into summer.
We expect to hear more as we push deeper into May and into June but these are the details that we think all console owners need to know, right now, about the Final Fantasy 15 release.

The first thing that prospective Final Fantasy XV buyers need to know is that Square Enix is preparing a new Final Fantasy XV demo for June. According to a tweet, Final Fantasy 15 Episode Duscae 2.0 will be released sometime in early June. A specific release date hasn't appeared just yet so it's not clear when the company plans to issue the updated demo to PlayStation and Xbox users. The demo was originally supposed to arrive in May. It's not clear what will be coming in the second demo though most believe that it will feature bug fixes and improvements based on the feedback that it gathered from the first issue of the demo. In April, Square Enix acknowledged that it had received tons of feedback about the first demo. |
