Nexus 6 Release Expands to Amazon is a post by Cory Gunther from Gotta Be Mobile.

If you’re still looking to buy Google’s impressive Nexus 6, this week it’s finally available from Amazon and their Prime shipping options. Google’s Nexus 6 has been available for some time now, but those looking for options aside from the Google Play Store and its expensive and slow shipping options, Amazon is here to help.

The impressive Nexus 6 was announced back on October 15th along with the Nexus 9 tablet, a Nexus Player, and the completely redesigned and improved Android 5.0 Lollipop software update. The release was slow from carriers, it’s available from Motorola.com with both colors in stock again, and sadly we’re still waiting on a release date from Verizon.

Those looking to get a Nexus 6 have probably experienced a few problems trying to find the always out of stock and hard to find smartphone. It’s available now from AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and US Cellular, making Verizon the only carrier without a release date. That said, if you’re looking to get it unlocked, one more option is now available as of this weekend.

The last actual Nexus 6 release date was back in December when it became available from US Cellular, and we’re hearing sometime this month the Verizon Nexus 6 could finally be released. However, if you’re just wanting to buy unlocked, without spending too much for shipping or waiting forever Amazon now offers the Nexus 6.

As of today Amazon is offering the 32GB Nexus 6 (sorry no 64GB variant) in both blue and the hard-to-find white color options, for the same price as Motorola or the Google Play Store, but with Amazon Prime shipping. This means those with Amazon Prime can get it in 2 days for free, or overnight shipping for only $3.99. Of course this is only if you’re a Prime member, but Amazon’s shipping options are generally better than Google’s anyways, even for regular customers.

For now they are only offering the 32GB model in both color options, but at some point in the future we could see the elusive 64GB version become available from Amazon as well. It’s worth noting that multiple 3rd party options are selling the phone on Amazon, so make sure you buy direct from Amazon (Ships from and sold by Amazon.com) with the Prime shipping option.

Those that haven’t bought the Nexus 6 yet are possible waiting for new phones like the HTC One M9 or the incoming Samsung Galaxy S6, and if you’re still on the fence, below is our Nexus 6 Review after using the big device for over a month.

As a reminder Google and Motorola’s Nexus 6 comes with a 5.96-inch Quad-HD Display, a powerful quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of storage with an impressive 13 megapixel camera. It’s running the latest Android 5.0.1 Lollipop with a big 3,320 mAh battery and features a new Turbo Charging option for faster charging. Add in dual front facing speakers and quick shipping from Amazon, and now is the perfect time to get Google’s latest smartphone.

The unlocked Nexus 6 works on all carriers in the U.S. and that includes Verizon, so grab one from Amazon today and enjoy.
