Gears of War 4 Beta: 5 Things to Know Right Now is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.
The Gears of War 4 release date for Xbox One is scheduled for late 2016 but Xbox One owners will get to play the game much sooner than that thanks to a Gears of War 4 beta. With that in mind, we want to take a look at the five most important things to know right now about the Gears of War 4 beta.
In June, Microsoft and The Coalition took the stage at E3 and announced two new Gears of War Xbox One releases. The first is the Gears of War Ultimate Edition, a remastered version of the first Gears of War campaign and a game that will be out on shelves in late August ahead of the holidays.
The other game is Gears of War 4, a brand new installment in the Gears of War series, and a game that remains fairly mysterious in the weeks after its initial announcement.
At E3 2015, The Coalition (former Black Tusk Studios) released a teaser trailer for Gears of War that showed off the game’s graphics, gameplay, and more. It’s an exciting new title but it’s one that won’t be on shelves until late 2016 as the companies continue to develop it.
The Gears of War 4 release date is unknown but we do know that the developer is shooting for a release sometime during the holiday season in 2016. That probably means the October-November window but nothing is confirmed yet and we probably won’t get any concrete dates until next year.
That doesn’t mean that we haven’t seen new Gears of War 4 release details emerge. In fact, The Coalition has confirmed a Gears of War 4 beta that will open up to Xbox One owners ahead of the game’s release in late 2016.
With new details about the Gears of War 4 beta now available, we want to take a look at the five things you need to know right now about this highly anticipated release.
