Online retailer Amazon isn’t passing up an opportunity to lure shoppers in search of an Xbox One Deal to its website instead of a physical retail store. Amazon is now offering what is the undisputed best Xbox One Deal available anywhere. This Xbox One deal still involves a $349 price tag, but buyers shouldn’t need to purchase anything else for a very long time.
This week shoppers noticed that Amazon was selling the Assassin’s Creed Xbox One Bundle $349.99. That much is pretty standard. Microsoft introduced a cheaper Xbox One bundle without the Kinect sensor last year, letting people purchase the sensor separately for $150. It then slashed the cost of that bundle during the holiday season by $50.
Amazon’s amazing Xbox One deal doesn’t cut the price of the console itself or provide boosted trade-in value. Instead, it includes everything a gamer needs to get going with the console at no additional charge. Already, Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag are included inside the box. Amazon is sweetening the savings with a free copy of NBA 2K15, the enormously successful basketball simulator that normally costs $60 separately.
Buyers who don’t like either of those games can download a number new titles each month for the next year directly through Xbox Live. That’s because this Amazon Xbox One deal also includes a year-long subscription to Xbox Live Gold, the subscription gaming and music service that shoppers normally have to purchase separately. Xbox Live Gold gets gamers unlimited access to Xbox Live multiplayer, digital game downloads at no additional charge, and huge weekly discounts on some titles that aren’t available for free. Xbox Live Gold costs $9.99 a month or $60 a year.
Every Xbox One console bundle comes with the other core parts that players need. The $349 Xbox One bundle doesn’t include a Kinect, but does have a wired chat headset so that gamers can communicate with their friends using the Party app or in-game chat. Every Xbox One also comes with an Xbox One Wireless controller and a set of batteries to get players started. A power cable for the console and an HDMI cable to connect the Xbox One to a television are included too.
Amazon doesn’t say on its website when this Xbox One deal ends. Shoppers do have the option to skip NBA 2K15 and buy a bundle that just contains Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. That bundle costs $389.99 though, making it a much more modest deal. On the site is also the Halo: The Master Chief Xbox One Bundle that Microsoft announced earlier this year. People who buy that Bundle at $345 do get $5 in savings, but nothing else. Amazon itself doesn’t have any real savings for buyers of the Xbox One with Kinect, but one of its resellers is offering the console bundle for $458.99, well below its $499 price normally.
With the weather getting warmer, Microsoft and its retail partners are on the prowl for Xbox One buyers, apparently. Earlier this month GameStop had an trade-in deal that granted shoppers a huge discount on the Xbox One when they traded in their Xbox 360. This week electronics and entertainment retailer Best Buy is offering a similar deal. Until May 2nd, anyone who trades in an Xbox 360 with 250GB of storage or a PS3 Slim get a whopping $175 in credit and coupons toward their Xbox One purchase. These are probably the most Xbox One deals we’ll see until this winter when retailers look to earn as much holiday shopping sales as they can.

For its part, Microsoft’s own retail stores have the Halo: Master Chief Collection Xbox One bundle for $349.99.
