The Batman Arkham series of games originally won over critics and players with a mix of fighting and gadgets. For every situation Batman had a remote controlled Batarang or a decoder. Batman Arkham Knight, the latest and final game in the series, launched last week. It contains the biggest, best gadget the games has ever delivered: the Batmobile.
The Batmobile in Batman Arkham Knight really is a character in its own right. It has its own progression tree, meaning players can add different upgrades to it as they get through more of the game. Some of these upgrades focus on defense, but many of them let you enable cool feature additions and upgrades. Here are five Batman Arkham Knight Batmobile tips and functions. Some are available immediately when you acquire the vehicle during the game’s story. Others are features and combos the Batmobile picks up as you progress through the game.

Batman Arkham Knight has many new combos, but none of them are as potent as the Batmobile and Batman’s dedicated takedown ability. Say you’re on the street fighting a group of thugs rioting. You can beat them up, or you can have the Batmobile do some of the work for you.
